The law office of McDonald, Duncan, Doré LLP was founded by John McDonald and Bill Duncan in 1998. By then both partners had been serving the Cornwall and area community as partners in other firms for more than 20 years. Driven by confidence in the future of the City of Cornwall and the surrounding area, the firm’s strategy was growth. McDonald, Duncan, Doré LLP is now one the largest law firm in the City of Cornwall and surrounding area with four lawyers.
Many years later, the firm’s strategy has not changed. We continue to recruit bright young people who share our optimistic vision of the future for this region. Most of our lawyers are life-long residents of the area who have chosen to return home to service their community.
